There will be changes under certain PA DUI laws commencing on 11/15/22. The changes are significant.
After 11/15/22 any 3rd Tier; 4th or more DUI will now be graded as a Felony 2 offense. A sentence imposed upon an individual under this section who has two or more prior offenses shall be served consecutively to any other sentence the individual is serving and to any other sentence being then imposed by the court, except for those which merge as a matter of law.
A Tier 3, 5th, or more DUI will be subject to a special sentencing enhancement. These new changes are being made under special legislative action. “Deana’s Law” has increased penalties and gradations for repeat offenders of the DUI law.
